How long does it take for my payment to show?

This varies depending on payment method. Credit card and Paypal are credited within about 10 minutes on average. However, BPay can take 2 working days, and Australia Post can take 3. This appears even longer if you recharge close to a weekend. We recommend that if you use those methods to recharge (and even if you don't), it's best not to let your account run down completely before recharging. We send out reminder TXTs when you hit $20 and $5 of credit to assist with this process.

Where/how can I recharge?

Recharge is facilitated through the web site. You can either use a credit card, PayPal, BPay or go to any Australia Post branch. We do not sell recharge cards at petrol stations and convenience stores.

What on earth is Pre-post-paid?

Pre-post-paid is a hybrid system that takes the best features of pre-paid and post-paid. We didn't like pre-paid because the call rates are outrageous, and because it's quite limited, so we did something that's a bit different. There are systems like this operating in some other countries - we weren't the first, and won't be the last. It's all about giving our customers something that better meets their needs. It works a bit like toll road systems like e-tag and e-pay. You have an account, and you get reminders when the balance is low, and you can charge it up a variety of ways.

How is it different from regular Pre-paid?

It's different and better in lots of ways: We won't cut you off mid-call if your credit runs out, because you're probably making a very important phone call. You have access to cheap international rates (assuming you have a reasonable credit balance). You also get access to your usage details. You can put several phones on the same account and share the credit. We actually know who you are and care about you.

How is it different from regular Post-paid?

You don't get a Tax Invoice every month. You don't have to jump through hurdles to qualify for an account. We do have a post-paid service through a separate brand called KISS Telecom for people or companies who prefer to have a service like this.

Why can't I recharge at 7-Eleven?

Because they (and other retailers) take a huge slice of whatever you recharge at their outlets, and we'd rather give you more for your money. We provide several other options for recharge, including some automatic systems that send you an e-mail and/or a TXT every time they do a recharge
